Lippeatt to lead Gloucestershire judging presentation

Stan Lippeatt to give adjudication presentation at Gloucestershire Brass Band Association AGM.

4BR has been informed that the Annual General Meeting of the Gloucestershire Brass Band Association will be held at 2.00pm on Saturday 29th of September at Cheltenham Civil Service Club, Tewkesbury Road, Uckington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL51 9SL.

Adjudication presentation

The meeting will be followed by a presentation from Stan Lippeatt, Chairman of the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Stan will be talking about what an adjudicator is looking for when adjudicating a contest and how they arrive at their results. It should give MD’s and players alike an interesting perspective on how their performances are appraised."

The presentation (free to attend) will start at approximately 3.00pm and is open to anyone who would like to attend.
