Andover Town Band has just returned from a memorable trip to Italy.

Andover in Italy

Andover Town Band recently returned from a concert tour of Italy where they gained plenty of new friends and many special memories.

Beautiful

After a 23 hour journey to Bobbio Pellice, the band arrived at a beautiful retreat at the foot of the Italian Alps, where the next day they played prior to and during a very moving Sunday religious service

An afternoon concert was attended by over 500 villagers, who thoroughly enjoyed the sound of a traditional British brass band performing in their local park.

Memorable

After an enjoyable evening, the band set off the next day to the stunning Forte de Fenestrelle, where they put on a memorable concert, set against the most memorable of scenic backdrops.

Further tour stops included a visit to Turin and the famous Juventus football stadium before performing to a large audience at the Piazza Castello and enjoying a walk up the slopes of the Alps before the band performed in the concert hall Teatro al Fortes.
