Gray's ready for celebration

Russell and Marieka Gray have been putting the final touches to their forthcoming celebration event.

Angus Gray

As reported on 4BR previously, the early arrival of Russell and Marieka Gray’s new son Angus (above), who was born seven weeks prematurely on 25th May, prompted the duo to help raise much needed funds for the neo natal unit at Warrington Hospital, where their son received treatment.

Family

Ever since they have been working on the special free family charity concert which will feature the Milnrow Band, where Marieka is Musical Director, and which will take place this Saturday 21st July at Warrington Salvation Army Hall.

It's been hard work, but we think it is going to be a great event for a great causeRussell Gray

Fun

"It's been hard work, but we think it is going to be a great event for a great cause," Russell said. "It’s going to be family orientated entertainment from the band – so be prepared to get involved with a big Proms style finish."

Russell and Marieka are certainly enjoying their new arrival – whilst Angus will also get his first taste of brass banding at the event.

New website

Angus has not been the only new arrival in the Gray household however, as Russell has just put the finishing touches to the launch of his brand new website.

"It's been on hold for a little while as you may expect, but now it's finally been brought to life — and I'm very excited about it," he added.

"There's plenty of information, news and features, so people can now find out more about me and my musical schedule."
