Talented brass and percussion players from all over the country are being asked to come along and join the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) for an exciting Open Day.

Host

The event will be held on Tuesday 7th August during the NYBBGB Summer residential course at Wymondham College in Norfolk.

It is hoped that it will give aspiring young musicians the opportunity to both see and hear the band which will be performing at the BBC Proms in London at the Royal Albert Hall and in Beccles and the Snape Proms in Suffolk next month.

Masterclass

The free Open Day will include a masterclass and opportunities to listen to the band rehearse, as well as listen to the band’s solo competition and participate in a question and answer session with conductor, Bramwell Tovey.

Welcome

Administrator Philip Biggs told 4BR: "We are looking for talented youngsters to attend. Everyone is welcome and previous open days have been extremely successful."
