Chapel-en-le-Frith Town Band certainly made first impressions count as they sported their brand new uniforms for their performance at the famous Pavilion Gardens Bandstand at Buxton.

Musical Director Aidan Howgate told 4BR: "The band greatly appreciated the co-operation of the Vernon Building Society Poynton Brass Band in obtaining the concert uniforms and the generous donation to the band's new uniform project by the Chapel Memorial Trust.

New tunics are now being obtained for the senior band and also for the junior members."
