It’s been a very busy time for composer Jonathan Bates, as the Black Dyke tenor horn star catches breath after a hectic couple of months that has seen him be part of the Queensbury band’s successes at the European and English National Championships as well as well as putting the finishing touches to his new website.
Non stop
He told 4BR: "It has been nonstop, but we have a little bit of a break to look forward to with the band before the preparations begin for the British Open in September, so I can concentrate on developing the new website."
The new internet presence will see people able to catch up with what the composer is up to, as well as biographies, sound clips, details of his growing library of compositions and future plans.
It’s going to be an exciting year to come, with the Cheltenham National Finals a real highlight. I hope the site will give more people the chance to find out a bit more about me and my musicJonathan Bates
