Foden's Band has announced that they have entered into an innovative partnership agreement with the Royal Northern College of Music, which will see the band provide collaborative rehearsals and performances with students.
Exciting projects
Foden's Chairman John Barber told 4BR: "We are privileged to be associated with one of the leading conservatoires in the world especially as a number of our players are either current or former students there.
We are looking forward to a long relationship with the RNCM and have already discussed a number of exciting projects."
High aspirations
RNCM Professor John Miller added: "Staff members of RNCM are thrilled about the new partnership and the great possibilities for students it gives throughout a three year agreement. In addition, collaborative rehearsal and performance with Foden’s are high aspirations for the most talented RNCM brass players.
The commitment to contemporary music, so much a feature of the RNCM Festival of Brass is a particular commitment shared by the two institutions."
