Bilton Silver Band will be opening their brand new bandroom facility this weekend, where they hope plenty of players, supporters and fans both old and new will join them to cut the ribbon.
Unveiled
A plaque will be unveiled by band members Keith Fisher and Stanley Cunningham, both of whom have put in over 60 years of dedicated service to the organisation, whilst both the Training and Senior ensembles will provide the musical entertainment.

Milestone
A spokesperson told 4BR: "This is a huge milestone for the band, and this exciting event takes place just three months after our success at the Midlands Area Championships, where we claimed first prize — a first in the band’s 119 year history."
The former bandroom, a pre fabricated building erected in the 1950s, was demolished in December 2011, and the band has worked tirelessly to raise the money required for their new state of the art home.
Funds
Funds have come from such diverse sources as the Landfill Communities Fund, Biffa Award, as well as a multi-million pound environmental fund managed by the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts (RSWT).
Bilton Silver Band Chairman, Greg Little told 4BR: "We are extremely grateful to everyone who has contributed to this project.
All of the hard work over the past 12 years has been well worth it as we now have a facility that not only the band, but the whole community can benefit from and be proud of."
