The East Riding of Yorkshire Band celebrated the Diamond Jubilee with a concert at the Burnby Hall Gardens recently.
Music
The gardens were magnificent as usual but sadly the weather was not. However, the audience was treated to a wide variety of music from marches to movie themes. The ERofYB is made up of players from across the East Riding and practice each week in Hull.
This was also the first concert for their new Musical Director Ian Scott, who moved into the Filey area recently.

Marching forward
A spokesperson told 4BR: "The ERofYB look forward to marching forward under his direction in the coming months."
The band also performed at the Priory Church of St Mary at Swine for a concert on the following Sunday afternoon. Principal cornet, James Kerridge, Mike Waudby on flugel horn and euphonium, Jim Johnson, all performed well received solos.
