From factory floor to 'Acid Brass' Frank Renton celebrates 75 years of the Fairey Band.

Formed in 1937 by a group of employees, Fairey Engineering Band was led for 30 years by the legendary cornet player and band maestro Harry Mortimer.

Frank Renton celebrates their 75th Anniversary with music especially recorded for the programme and he talks to conductor Mark Peacock and long time band member Brian Taylor about the band's history, the lasting effect of the bands 'Acid Brass' collaboration and why they think it's still such a special place to make music.
