Dyke to headline September Northern Brass Arts Festival

European Champion to head Great Northern Brass Arts Festival this September as line up of bands announced.

Organiser Philip Biggs has announced the bands that will take to the stage at the fifteenth Great Northern Brass Arts Festival at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on Saturday 8th September.

Debut

Making their debut at the festival will be Carlton Main Frickley Colliery, whilst Fairey Band will take to the stage followed by the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.

The Gala Concert will feature three familiar bands — Brighouse & Rastrick, Foden's and Black Dyke.

Programmes will be announced later in the year but tickets on sale at the box office, 0161 907 9000.

National Youth

Philip also informed 4BR that the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain concerts this year will include the band’s prestigious appearance at the Royal Albert Hall.
