If you are offered anything from a cheap euphonium to a full drum kit, music banners to hard cases at a hard to believe knock down price off the back of a trailer, then get in touch with the police – it may well belong to Knottingley Concert Brass.
Concert gear
The band recently had their band trailer stolen, complete with all their concert gear, worth around £14,600 – and want it back.
The theft occurred sometime between 11.00pm Sunday evening, 20th May, and Monday morning, 7.30am, 21st May, from outside 19 Grosvenor Avenue, Pontefract, WF8 4QU.
Drum kit
The white twin axel four wheel Ifor Williams trailer contained all the band’s concert gear, with the band name and logo emblazoned on the sides and included a complete Gretsch drum kit, two premier Concert Series pedal timps, plus ancillary gear.
In addition the trailer held music stands, stand drapes, and of greatest importance, all the current music programme of around 40 scores.
