Cornerstone Brass has announced the signing of promising young trombone player James Morley who will join the band on second trombone.

James who originally comes from Norwich, is currently studying at Sheffield Hallam University and replaces Ashley Griffin who has had to step down due to college commitments.

Damian Wileman told 4BR: "Although we are very sad to be losing Ashley, we are thrilled that we can replace him with James who is such a talented player with a big personality to go with it. Already we have been impressed with the quality of his playing."

James will make his first official outing with the band at the Whit Friday contests.
