Aveley & Newham Band will open its doors on Monday May 7th to host a free open rehearsal in their bandroom at Hall Lane, Aveley.

The former Grand Shield champions will be performing the set work, 'On the Shoulders of Giants' by Peter Graham, as they look to put the finishing touches to their preparation for their appearance at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on 12th May and claim a place back at the British Open.

Some other pieces will also be featured during the evening.
