Talented brass and percussion players from across the UK are being invited to audition for the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and the National Youth Children’s Brass Bands of Great Britain.
The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) is open to musicians aged 12 to 18, with the National Children’s Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) open to musicians aged eight to 14.
Talented youngsters
Administrator Philip Biggs, told 4BR: "We are looking at talented children and teenagers from across the UK for the bands. Youngsters will each be given free entry into a masterclass led by one of the organisation’s first-class tutors."
The NYBBGB, recently held its Easter course in Somerset with two high profile concerts in Weston Super Mare and London.
The 80-strong NYBBGB holds two one-week intensive residential courses each year and the 56-strong NCBBGB holds an annual one-week intensive course each Summer.

• Royal Academy of Music, London: Sunday 17th June
• University of Huddersfield: Saturday 23rd June
• St. Dennis Bandroom, Cornwall: Saturday 15th September
• Ratby Bandroom, Leicester: Sunday 28th October
• University of Salford: Saturday 3rd November
• University of Sunderland: Saturday 10th November
