Some of the talented young players of the Ratby Co-operative Band have been enjoying success at the recent Leicester Brass Band Association Solo & Quartet Contest.
Competitive
In a highly competitive Junior Quartet event, the band's quartets came second and third.
The ensembles were made up of Emily Evans, Patrick Marriott, Emily Sibson and Emily Newman, conducted by Frances Skinner and a mixed instrument quartet conducted by Geoff Newman of Alice Warner, Vince Turner, Emily Sibson and Emily Newman.
