Weston set for bumper entry

The popular Weston Super Mare Contest is set to attract a bumper line up of bands — so get your entry in fast!!!

4BR has been informed that the closing date for the increasingly popular Weston Super Mare Contest is the 9th April.

The own choice event will take place at the town's Winter Gardens, and the contest organisers have informed 4BR that entries are coming in at a rate of knots.

Contest Administrator John Woods told 4BR: "Bands need to get in touch ASAP to ensure their places. We want to try and accommodate as many bands as possible, so please ring on 01934 750700 or 07580 187974 or contact direct at johnwwoods@tiscali.co.uk."

Judges

The adjudicators for the event are Philip Harper and Dr Chris Davis.

This will be 44th Weston Super Mare Contest which is a South West Brass Band Association promotion supported by Parkwood Leisure and North Somerset Council.
