4BR has been informed that entry to the National Youth Championships which will take place at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester on Sunday 22nd April is now closed.

Delight

Speaking to 4BR on behalf of the BFFB who runs the competition, Arnold Tattersfield commented 'We have 43 entrants this year and we are absolutely delighted with the turnout across the various sections and thank the bands for their commitment'.

43 bands will compete this year with the largest competition being The Intermediate Section4BR

4BR understands the list of bands along with the adjudicator's who will preside throughout the day and ticket details will be announced in the near future.

Extra time

Bands attending the competition in Manchester who will be using the motorway network should allow extra time for their journey's. Traffic is expected to be heavy within the area with Manchester United playing Everton at Old Trafford at 12.30.
