BFBB announce further fund raising help

Bands can now raise over £1,000 a month for FREE online, thanks to the BFBB.

BFBB

The British Federation of Brass Bands (BFBB) has recently teamed up with the online fund-raising portal www.easyfundraising.org.uk to help bands to raise funds for FREE as a result of shopping and internet searching online.

BFBB Liaison Officer, Terry Luddington told 4BR: "There are a few sites that do this online now, but www.easyfundraising.org.uk is one of the market leaders and can be used by any brass band to raise funds online, to be compared with some of the other sites which can only be used by registered charities.”

Making a difference

He added: "The Making A Difference for Brass Bands programme (MAD4BB) now sees around 150 bands raising over £1,000 between them each month."

Terry concluded: "Raising funds this way for FREE for your band is a no-brainer, as more and more purchases and searching is done online, for the sake of an extra click of the mouse, you may as well take the FREE funds that are now on offer."
