John Packer is offering players the opportunity to learn from two of the very best brass stars in the banding world at a 'Funday' workshop in Taunton on April 14th.

Star attractions

Euphonium star David Thornton and soprano virtuso Richard Poole are the star attractions at a day of brass workshops hosted by John Packer Ltd at Queen's College.

Following registration from 9.00am, the musicians will start the day at 10.00am with a mass warm up led by David, followed by expert tutoring from David and Richard on selected pieces.

Brilliant opportunity

It gives players the brilliant opportunity to learn from two of the very best, and pick up amazing tips and advice in the process.

The day will culminate in a performance of pieces learned during the day, featuring solos by Richard and David.

All ages are welcome, although there is a minimum standard requirement of Grade 3. Bring your instrument, music stand and a packed lunch and enjoy the day!
