Tovey and Childs

Bramwell Tovey, will conduct the premiere performances with the National Youth Band of Great Britain at Weston Super Mare and London, with Dr Nicholas Childs leading the Welsh premieres at Aberystwyth and Cardiff with the National Youth Band of Wales.

Delighted

Bram Tovey told 4BR: "Edward Gregson is a composer whose output has been dominated by orchestral works over the last two decades. I’m particularly delighted that he has chosen to write his first symphony for the medium of brass band.

During the last two years the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain has enjoyed an increasingly close relationship with this major composer."
