Although they just missed out on a Cheltenham qualification place in the First Section of the North West Regional Qualifiers in Blackpool, the Pouton-le-Fylde Band is more than happy.

After only being with the band since Christmas, new MD, John Wood, inspired his players to produce a performance of 'Mountain Views' which was highly commended by adjudicator Malcolm Brownbill.
