Old Hall Brass has announced the signing of talented Josie Lyon on 3rd cornet ahead of their appearance at the North West Areas Championships in Blackpool on the weekend.

Band spokesperson Paul Sudworth told 4BR: "Josie is the sister for front row cornet player Jess, who also plays with St Helens Youth Brass Band. We are delighted to welcome Josie to Old Hall Brass."
