Kapitol Promotions Ltd has announced an injection of youth to their Music Panel, with the first meeting taking place this week.

Paul Holland and Gareth Ritter have joined the panel which chooses the set works for the Regional Championship qualifying contests and National Finals.

Together they will bring experience of working with bands at all competitive levels to the National Music PanelMusic Panel Secretary, Alan Hope

Music Panel Secretary Alan Hope commented: "We are delighted to welcome Paul and Gareth to the Panel. They both represent the younger and successful generations of brass musicians, with Gareth leading City of Cardiff (Melingriffith) from the Fourth to Championship Section and Paul developing a highly successful conducting career with Flowers as well as being a much respected and sought after adjudicator."

He added: "Together they will bring experience of working with bands at all competitive levels to the National Music Panel."
