Double National champion Brighouse & Rastrick recently performed live at the hugely publicised BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards ceremony at The Lowry Centre in Manchester.

The band accompanied the Northumbrian Folk Group ‘The Unthanks’ who had been nominated for four awards at the high profile event.

Breakfast appearance

The band, directed by Associate Conductor Dr Chris Davis, also appeared on the BBC Breakfast Show last Wednesday morning when the awards ceremony was featured.
