Midlands

The Midlands event will take place at Nottinghamshire’s Newstead Centre on Sunday, February 26th at 7.00 pm, where five bands will perform the various set works.

Hosts Newstead Brass will be joined by Hathern, Pleasley Colliery, Shirebrook MW (Unison) and Thurcroft Welfare.

Each band will play the music set for its section of the championship as well a hymn tune and receive feedback on their performance from experienced adjudicator John Roberts.

The first band will play at 7.00 pm and admission costs just £2 at the door.

Everyone is welcome to come along and there will also be a bar and refreshments available.

The Newstead Centre is on Tilford Road, Newstead, Nottinghamshire, NG15 0BU near the railway station and convenient for junctions 26, 27 and 28 of the M1.
