Dobcross set for Area pieces

The famous Dobcross Band Club will host an Area test piece evening later this month.

Dobcross Band will be hosting an open ‘Area’ rehearsal for four bands on Thursday 23rd February on the run up to the North West Areas the following weekend.

There will be a well respected adjudicator on hand on the night to give an extra insight into the peices.

Performers

Championship Section: (Devil and the Deep Blue Sea) — Co-operative Milnrow

Second Section:(Cross Patonce) — Dobcross Silver

Third Section:(Olympus) — Eccles Borough

Fourth Section:(English Folk Song) — Denton Brass

It will be held at the famous Dobcross Band Club and starts at 8.00pm.

Dobcross Band and the Club are thrilled to be hosting the event and if successful, the many more to come in the future! All are welcome for what will be a night of great contesting music.
