Holme Valley set for April contest

The Holme Valley Brass Band Contest is the place to be on 1st April.

 

The Holme Valley Contest is set to take place on Sunday 1st April, with plenty of prize money for bands in all the sections.

Own choice

Championship, First and Second Section Bands will battle it out on their own choice selections for a top prize of £500 plus trophy, with £250 for the runner up and £100 for third.

There are also special prizes of £75 for the highest Second Section band not in the prizes and a Hymn Tune prize of £50 + trophy.

Third & Fourth

Third and Fourth Section Bands will also battle it out on own choice selections for the £400 top prize and shield, with £250 to the runner up and £100 to the band coming third.

There are also special prizes of £75 for the highest Fourth Section band not in the prizes and a Hymn Tune prize of £50 + trophy.

Youth

Youth bands will complete a varied programme for the £250 top prize and trophy, with £125 to the runner up and £75 to the band coming third.

Banks Brass Band
