The deadline for entries to the 5th European Composers Competition has been extended to 20th February.

The competition gives composers born after 1st January 1977 a unique opportunity to submit a new work for brass band.

Best pieces

The best pieces will be selected for the final, to be held at the De Doelen in Rotterdam on 3rd May as part of the European Brass Band Championships, where they will be performed by a leading brass band from the Netherlands.

There will be prizes of EUR 2500, 2000, 1500 and 500 and 500, as well as special awards for the finalistsEBBA
