An ensemble of player from the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland recently performed at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh as part of the first anniversary celebrations of Creative Scotland.

To mark the occasion, talented bass trombonist, Josiah Walters, was commissioned to compose a special fanfare ‘Flying High’, which offered an impressive start to the event, with the remainder of the programme including Alan Fernie’s arrangement of ‘Five Elizabethan Dances’ and a collection of seasonal favourites.
Audience
Amongst the enthusiastic audience, Andrew Duncan and George Burt of The Scottish Brass Band Association, and Neil Cross, Director of NYBBS were delighted to attend this landmark occasion as representatives of the relative organisations.
