The North West Amateur Brass Band Association has WABBA has announced that Malcolm Brownbill has agreed to become their newly appointed President.

General Secretary, Shirley Woodward told 4BR: "Malcolm was a close friend former President, Dr Roy Newsome and shared his dedication to brass bands.

The officers of the Association look forward to working with Malcolm, who is a man of the highest integrity and dedication to brass banding."
