Fairey end Geneva link

Fairey to return to their former identity as they announce end of Geneva sponsorship agreement.

Fairey

The Fairey Band has announced that it has ended its sponsorship agreement with Geneva Instruments, and that it will revert immediately to its former name of 'The Fairey Band'.

Fundermentals

A spokesman for the band commented to 4BR: "We are saddened to cease this sponsorship arrangement. However, there were some underlying fundamentals to our agreement that did not transpire. Whilst we thank Geneva for their support over the last two years, we felt the time was right to bring an end to the association."

Best form

They added: "As a band we are keen to stress that this should not be seen as shining a negative light on Geneva or indeed on Fairey who enter 2012, our 75th anniversary year, in the best of form and with outstanding personnel.

The past two years have seen us win the English National Championship and secure runners up positions at the British Open, National Finals and Brass in Concert. We are determined to improve further on that outstanding record."
