Advert: Trevor James Musical Instruments

A fantastic brand new brass line of instruments hits the shelves in time for Christmas....

Trevor James

World renowned woodwind manufacturer, Trevor James, has launced a new brass line of instruments.

And with over 25 years of design experience Trevor James knows how important instrument design is in helping players achieve their musical goals.

Exciting project

In 2008 the Trevor James Company started work on an exciting new project.

With the design objective ‘Built to Perform’ the company began development of a new brass range, working closely with experienced technicians and players of all ages and from all genres to determine the designs and features required to create a stunning range of brass instruments, which would enable players to reach these goals.

Launch

In March 2010 the ‘Renaissance’ brass range was launched into the European market at the Frankfurt music fair followed by its UK launch later that year.

With a range of design features unique to the Trevor James Renaissance brass range, including the new TJ acoustic bell brace, we believe that Trevor James has set a new standard in brass manufacture and design, and is clearly, ‘Built to Perform’.

Renaissance

And the instruments have been receiving rave reviews from those who know what to look for in top class brass instruments:

"The Renaissance 6500 (cornet) is an extremely agile performer, a perfect instrument for those coloratura solos and exacting tutti sections alike" — Alex Caldon

"We receive a lot of instruments to try from manufacturers, but these are ‘built to perform’ – this really is a design objective and not just a tag line!" — Richard Boler – Hayes Music

"I’m really enjoying playing the 6500 cornet on stage in War Horse. It has both warmth of sound and a feeling of security throughout the range. It is well built and robust, ideal for daily use." — Colin Rae – Musical director/trumpet & cornet on the award winning show War Horse, London

Now available

The Renaissance brass range is now available in the UK via the national network of Trevor James specialist dealers.
