Handbells ring for Glover

Euph star Mark Glover set to return to church bell ringing...

Glover

Euphonium player Mark Glover has been busy lately with a number of solo projects.

Recital

Along with covering the solo euphonium seat at the Virtuosi GUS Band in the absence of Mark Giles who was away on business, Mark recently delivered a successful lunchtime recital in Sheffield Cathedral.

Performing music by Schmidt, Paganini, Turrin, Golland, Wiggins and Hummel, such was the positive feedback that he has been invited to perform again in the future.

The concerts normally feature organists and vocalists so to get invited back is great news. It’s a wonderful venue to perform atMark Glover

Invited back

Mark told 4BR: "The concerts normally feature organists and vocalists so to get invited back is great news. It’s a wonderful venue to perform at."

Mark is now working on two new works that have been written for him with handbell choir accompaniment which he will perform in December.
