Smithills set for Premiership appearance

Smithills School Senior Band under MD Chris Wormald have accepted an invitation from Bolton Wanderers Football Club to play at two forthcoming Premiership home matches.

Villa & Reds

The band will help Owen Coyle's team by providing the musical entertainment before the visits of Aston Villa in December and Liverpool in January.

The Smithills musicians will entertain for 90 minutes before each game, receive 45 free tickets to both fixtures and hold fundraising collections at the ground.

Carols

Smithills will also perform at the Bolton Wanderers Christmas Carol Service in the Reebok Stadium. The service is recorded by commercial radio and broadcast on Christmas Day.
