The ever popular ‘Tuba Carols’ event will take place in front of St. Paul’s Cathedral on Sunday 11th December from 12.45am until 14.15pme conducted by Patrick Harrild (principal tuba of the LSO).
Open
It is open to players of all standards (beginner to virtuoso!) with the aim of having a bit of fun while playing carols in four part harmony to help raise money for Barnardo’s, the children’s charity.
This year will be our fifth at St.Paul’s, and despite the ‘little local difficulty’ of late Patrick told 4BR that he hopes that this year even more players will turn up to beat last year’s 68 player record.
