A celebration of the life of Goff Richards took place in Truro Cathedral last weekend, when over 300 musicians came together to provide wonderful music in a celebration of the masterful musician and composer.

Bands and choirs
The forces, the largest gathered together in Cornwall for many years, comprised the four Cornish Championship bands of Camborne, Mount Charles, St Austell and St Dennis, and the four Male Voice choirs of Four Lanes, Holman Climax, Nankersey and St Stythians, with singers from Mevagissey and Newquay Choirs.
Music
The programme encompassed a wide range of his compositions and arrangements, with items by individual bands and massed combinations.
Guest conductors included, David Marshall, Leonard Adams and David Loukes.
