Trentham Brass is celebrating following the news that they have received £8,750 of National Lottery funding from the Grants for the Arts scheme.
Building for the future
The money will go towards plans for building the future capacity of the organisation, and in particular to support the activities of the Trentham Training Band as it works towards its first anniversary celebrations early in the New Year.

Grass Roots
The Training Band was formed in January this year following a highly successful Open Day and a Grass Roots Grant of £5,000 to purchase a set of student instruments to start the band.
With the help of Terry Luddington (BFBB Liaison Officer) the award proves took just six weeks from putting pen to paper.
Help
A sppokesperson told 4BR: "Terry came down to meet with us in early April and his advice and guidance on how to approach the grant application proved invaluable."
She added: "Using the online service for Grants for the Arts provided by the Arts Council we were able to continue to work up the application together and found out we had been successful just 6 weeks later.
We promptly order two tubas and have already made a start with our plans towards celebrating the Training Band’s first Anniversary next year."
