Harrow Way School in Andover recently became the focal point for aspiring young bands and their followers thanks to Test Valley Brass.
The school was filled to bursting point as four rock and solo acts performed much to the appreciation of the audience.
Headline group
The headline group was local band ‘Beneath Devastation’ who brought the house down with Katy Perry’s ‘I Kissed a Girl’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ which ended up with many of the audience joining the group on stage.
Concept
Test Valley’s Alec Grimsey told 4BR: "The Test Valley team came up with the concept of putting on an evening of live music to help raise funds to allow the band to take up the invitation of travelling to Majorca in October next year. However it turned into something much more than that!"

Great night
He added: "Everyone had a great night which went without a hitch, and there was a great selection of music performed. It really does show what a great town Andover is and how wonderful and talented our young people are – brass, rock and pop!"
