Bodmin Town Band has announced a further addition to their burgeoning ranks.

Hard on heels

Hard on the heels of the signing of Michelle Hudson on flugel horn, comes the news that Dan Wheadon,transfers from Mount Charles to play third solo cornet.

Band spokesman Lee Morford told 4BR: "We are delighted to welcome Dan to the band. Once more, it is a sign that we must be doing something right if a player of his experience wishes to join us."

He added: "This now completes our cornet line-up, and with just one seat to fill on either euphonium or baritone we’re just about there!"
