Freckleton boost the ranks

Star sop signing leads new arrivals at Freckleton.

The Freckleton Band has announced the arrival of several new signings.

Return

Adding to the recent return of Mike Pritt on Principal Cornet, Mark Fairclough, another previous principal cornet of the band, makes a return on front row cornet.

Rob Thomson joins on BBb Bass, having previously played Eb bass with the band, as well as with Leyland, Wingates, Besses and the now defunct Lancashire Police Band.

Meanwhile soprano star Matt Balsom has joined from Leyland. The first contest performance for the recent signings will be at the Fleetwood Contest on 2nd Octobe.
