New secretary for North West

Keith Tysall takes over the as the new North West Regional Secretary as Peter Bates hangs up his trainers.

After 12 years Regional Secretary, Peter Bates hung up his signature white trainers at the recent North West Regional Committee’s Annual General Meeting.

Transition

With 25 years of service under his belt, Peter has agreed to remain an active member to ensure a smooth transition of roles, and will be succeeded by Keith Tysall, who has been a member of the Regional Committee for several years and has been involved with both Hazel Grove and VBS Poynton Bands in the past, although at present he has no formal affiliations.

Peter's achievements in running a full Regional Championship at Blackpool on one day, has gained many admirers. It has taken a high degree of dedication and expertise to produce a contest to be proud ofShirley Woodward
