Shropshire multi-media company 7video is to make a documentary about the forthcoming Bolsover Festival of Brass.

Martyn Harris, a former player with Desford Colliery Band will be leading the filming team at the event this weekend.

Martyn told 4BR: "We're delighted to have been asked to make the documentary, which will see us interviewing musicians taking part, as well as the build-up to the event and the festival itself."

The company will film at the charity entertainment reunion concert featuring Boobs and Brass, as well as the contest day on the Sunday.

Martyn added: "We'll be making a DVD of the film and a shortened version will also go on Bolsover District Council's website. We do quite a few projects with local authorities working with the community, and we're thrilled in to involved in a major arts and music project like this."
