Foden’s has announced that 'Bremners sshhmutes' have become a 'partner' of the band.
Open challenge
The partnership has come about with the band working on the British Open test piece 'Red Priest', which calls for a number of sections of the band to play with practice mutes – with the band opting for the bespoke mutes from Bremners to form an integral part of their forthcoming challenge.
Pleased
Speaking about the partnership Foden’s Andy Rolfe told 4BR: "We are extremely pleased to announce the partnership ahead of the British Open. We decided to choose the sshhmutes due to the ease of blowing and tuning throughout the range which is usually a problem with practice mutes."

Delighted
Betty Bremner from the company added: "We are delighted Foden’s have entered into a partnership with us and that principal cornet Mark Wilkinson has agreed to become an endorsee of the cornet practice mute."
