The Blidworth Welfare Band has announced further additions to their expanding organisation.
10 piece ensemble
The last few weeks has seen the development of a new 10-piece ensemble group to take advantage of their increasing workload and popularity in the East Midlands.
The ensemble has already completed a number of engagements one of which included a civic function attended by MP Dennis Skinner, and known worldwide as the political Beast of Bolsover, who was overwhelmed by the groups soundKaren Cretney

Band Manager Karen Cretney told 4BR that the band had embraced the innovation as a way of increasing revenue, and has already received a number of firm bookings through to October next year.
