Percussionists to get Olympic role

If you are a percussionist then the Olympic Games could be your next performance gig...

Percussionist players are to be given the opportunity to play a musical role in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic Games in London next year.

10,000 volunteers

The organisers have announced that they are looking for 10,000 volunteers, including percussion players, to be part of what they believe will be a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
