John Rowley the head of the Reelsound mobile recording company told 4BR: "Every year we do two or three specific Christmas CDs for different bands. They are a great fund raising idea and are very popular with the bands and their supporters as they can be used to really maximise fund raising activities."
He added: "We usually record the CDs just before Christmas, but last weekend we were down in the New Forest making a recording for the Sandleheath Band –in July!"

Pay dividends
John revealed that the band’s early decision would certainly pay dividends – thanks to Reelsound’s expertise.

Blazing sky
The only draw back though was that it was a bit strange for John to be left whistling ‘Jingle Bell’s’ on the way home in the car, with the Summer sun blazing in the sky.
He concluded: "It was well worth it though. Reelsound provides the expertise and the band provides the music. It’s a great combination even if it does mean a few unseasonable tunes keep coming into your head!"
