4BR has been informed that the Wrexham Band’s appeal against their exclusion from competing at the Welsh Regional Contest in 2012, and MD’s Wayne Ruston two year exclusion, has been arranged for Saturday 24th September in Cheltenham, on the morning of the National Finals.

Following the Welsh Regional contest in March, both the band and their conductor were found to have brought the reputation of the contest into disrepute, a decision that has been vigorously disputed.
