Members of Newport Town (Shropshire) Band are celebrating after establishing a new partnership with a local University College.

Relocate

Some time ago the band decided to move from their previous facilities and relocated at the Harper Adams University College, which is an Agricultural College located at Edgmond, Newport.

As a result the band has agreed to be involved in performing at many College functions, including the popular Farmers Markets.

We are very excited to forge this close link with Harper Adams and to provide banding opportunities for any students who attend the collegeChairman, Sharon Olver

Opportunities

The band hope that the establishment of this new link will enable them to offer opportunities for any student who attends at Harper Adams to play with the band themselves.

Chairman, Sharon Olver, told 4BR: "We are very excited to forge this close link with Harper Adams and to provide banding opportunities for any students who attend the college."
