Experience

The bass trombonist brings extensive conducting and playing experience with him to his new role, whilst he is currently heavily involved in education throughout the South East, holding the post of Director of Music for the Brompton Academy in Kent.

Tilbury Band Officer Ben Jones told 4BR: "We are delighted that Andrew has decided to join us. He has come from a fantastic background and has really impressed with his knowledge, skills and enthusiasm. I am sure that he will fit well into the team and we all look forward to working with him over the coming months and years."

Andrew has been thrown into the deep end with back to back concerts throughout the summer, as well as starting thinking about test pieces for the bands contest season which commences in September.
